Ms Ashley Lo, Piano Instructor & School Director

Ms Ashley had begun piano study since age of 7. At age15, she was admitted to XingZhi Music Academy in Shanghai China. After graduation, she began her music teaching career at elementary school. After moving to California, Ms Ashley continued pursuing her teaching career at local schools in the Inland Empire areas. Before she founded Kiddo Music and Art, Ms Ashley had been teaching children piano lessons at MusicAlley in Chino Hills.

Ms Sharon Chien, Senior Piano Instructor

Ms. Sharon Chien started her piano path since the age of four with the Yamaha Music School. By the time she was 13, Ms. Chien had passed Yamaha's level 5 performance test. In 1994, Ms. Chien received her teaching certificate from Yamaha Music. Ms. Chien graduated from Tunghai University, in Taiwan, majored in Piano Performance, minored in Clarinet and later received her Master degree at University of Houston in Piano Performances. While studied at University of Houston, Ms. Chien worked under Mr. Timothy Hester.

Ms Rudie Shwe, Vocal, Piano, & Guitar Instructor

Rudie started playing piano and singing at the age of 7. She was exposed to many genres at an early age from classical to rock music.  Her musical influences include a wide variety of folk, R&B, soul, rock, alternative, funk, pop, and jazz.  

Rudie followed her passion for music voice studying at Riverside Community College and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance  at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California.  As a voice teacher, Rudie uses a variety of vocal techniques and methods to customize lessons for  students’ individual needs.  Whether it is learning to build a strong voice or having the confidence for a performance.

Mr Brandon Trubey, Drum & Guitar Instructor

Mr Brandon began playing music at 11 years of age. Prior to settling on drums, he also played other instruments such as flute, guitar, and bass. That experience has given him a unique perspective of the role being a drummer. Mr Brandon is currently studying music performance at Norco College and has performed in a variety of styles including pop, rock, blues, jazz, and Latin music.

Ms Anna Kang, Art Teacher & Program Director

Ms Kang received her formal training and BA degree in oil painting at Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in China . Her teaching career started in 2008 as a high school art teacher. After moving to California, she continued her teaching career at the Pasadena Art School in Pasadena before she joined Kiddo Music and Art as Program Director. Ms Kang is specialized in young children fine art skill development and advanced paintings.

Ms Truda Liu, Art Teacher

Ms Truda began her art training since very young age. Her passion for art was demonstrated throughout her formal education and into her professional career. Ms Truda received her BA degree in Graphic Art Design at Cal State Fullerton. Prior to joining our school, Ms Truda was a career Senior Footwear Designer specializing in young apparel shoes and her work was featuring in many fashion magazines and TV shows. Ms Truda wanted to inspire children to become a fine young artist with her prior art training and her talented creativity.

Mr Ricardo Betancourt, Art Teacher

Mr Ricardo is a lifelong student of art. His passion led him to study classical drawing and painting in Mexico City at the Academia de San Carlos. Later he studied privately with several established artist through Central America in places like Guatemala and Costa Rica. He then returned to the U.S. where he currently has practiced his teaching profession.
